The Aston Martin Valkyrie Brings Intense Hp & an Ultra-Light Body
More news about the upcoming Aston Martin Valkyrie has emerged. According to Road and Track, the Valkyrie will feature a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine as well as an electric motor, bringing the car’s output up to an impressive 1130 hp.
What really makes this car special though, is the combination of sheer horsepower, alongside a lightweight body. The Valkyrie is reported to keep a 1:1 power to weight ratio, but it’s been suggested the car could be even lighter than that — coming in at just 2,270 lbs.
Production for the Valkyrie is set for 2019, but there are rumors that the car company has yet to produce a prototype, so it’s quite possible that the wait could be even longer. When it does arrive, though, Aston Martin is making just 150 cars, and 25 track-only models, so your chances of getting your hands on one is pretty slim, even if you can afford the hefty price tag.
In other news, this custom “Dark Knight” Porsche 911 Turbo S looks completely menacing.
