The wedding day is the most important day. It is a bright and beautiful new chapter of an individual life. In a country like India which has traditions and culture imbibed in its soil, weddings are the most auspicious. Types of lehengas-

Selecting a lehenga-

Embellishments- Since lehengas are designed for marriage purposes; they come with heavy zardozi or zari work. At times this embroidery makes it too heavy for the bride to wear it. Hence it is desirable to check with the tailor or the designer regarding the comfort of the outfit.
Design- There are a variety of designs available in the market, but a bride has to know which best suits her frame or bodyline. And thus decide accordingly.
Fabric- There is a wide variety of fabrics available. The most sought after being the satin. Other famous ones include georgette, crepe, and tissue, net. Also now a day the designer mixes the fabric according to the taste of the client. Here care should be taken to select the fabric according to the climate and figure.
Color- Now we all know that not all color suits everyone. Hence should be accordingly decided.
