Dealing With Anxiety – ASMR – Self-help for your nerves

A few months ago I made a video about the anxiety that had returned and why. I struggled for a few weeks using the techniques that I had learned in my previous cognitive behavioural therapy sessions but I just couldn't seem to shift it. One of my viewers recommended a book to me which was 'Self-help for your nerves' by Dr Claire Weekes. I hate to be cliché and say this book changed my life but it really did. Understanding what's happening in my body and WHY is key for me to take control of it again and this book did exactly that as well as talk me through how to get by day to day with my anxiety until it eventually goes.
