Auree Jewellery & The London Chatter are helping to save elephants…
You may not know this, but in Africa, an elephant is killed for their ivory every 15 minutes. It’s a devastating statistic that could essentially mean your children and their children might never see an elephant in its natural habitat. Unless something is done.
And it’s the little things that make a big difference. Like this new collaboration between British jewellery brand, Auree, and fashion and lifestyle blogger, The London Chatter (Kelly Eastwood). They have come up with a seven piece collection of oh-so-gorgeous bracelets inspired by “traditional Maasai bead jewellery… each bracelet in the Tembo (Swahili for elephant) collection is textured to evoke this style and features an iconic tusk as a reminder of this important cause.”
The bracelets start from £50 (for sterling silver) and go up to £155 (for 9ct gold), so there’s something for everyone. What’s more, with some of the styles, you can get your initials engraved on the little disk (for an extra £25). And 100% of the profits will be donated to For Rangers in conjunction with Tusk – two amazing organisations that help the rangers target the poachers.
This collaboration has an extra special place in Kelly’s heart too… she was raised in Kenya after her grandparents moved there in the 1920s, so she has first-hand experience of the plight of the elephants and the rangers that work tirelessly to protect them. Buying a Tembo bracelet will help in this cause.
